A truly GREAT LIFE is marked by a sense of balance or wholeness.  Women attending the 2009 Women In Management National Conference and Awards Celebration gained perspective and help connecting the pieces of their lives as managers, mentors, business owners, or community leaders.

 

This full-day conference was packed with educational and motivational breakout sessions, keynote addresses by nationally and internationally recognized speakers, and an executive forum featuring top professionals in their fields of expertise.  Attendees were offered insight, resources, tools and information to help them put it all together!  This conference was geared toward women at all stages of their careers and at all levels of an organization.

  

Breakout Sessions:

 

This all-day event offered three Breakout Session Tracks with a choice of workshops focused on various topics including Professional Development, Leadership and Personal Development.  

 

Luncheon:

Keynote Speaker Kristen Hendricks

Partner & Sr. Designer, Juxtaposie

Co-Founder of Purse of Hope

 

The Luncheon featured Chapter Meetings & Awards with Keynote Speaker Kristen Hendricks of Juxtaposie & Purse of Hope.  Kristen is a talented handbag designer, business owner, wife and mother who wanted to do more.  She saw a need in our society and acted to co-found Purse of Hope, a non-profit that helps those who are victims of human trafficking.

 

The Executive Forum:

Keeping It All Together in Tough Times

    

Top executives and business owners discussed how to not only survive, but also thrive during the tough economic times.

Conference attendees submitted pressing issues facing their professions prior to this Forum and received answers to help position themselves to prosper when things take a turn for the better.

 

 

Networking & Cocktails Reception:

 

Attendees had a variety of opportunities to mingle and network during the Putting It All Together Conference, but the Networking Reception was designed around the concept of getting all attendees together to meet and help one another.  

 

 

Awards Dinner:

Keynote Speaker Lori Hogan

Co-Founder of Home Instead Senior Care

 

Presentation of the National Charlotte Danstrom Awards was the capstone of the event.  

 

Lori Hogan, co-founder of Home Instead Senior Care challenged attendees to be more confident, motivated and assertive by sharing principles she personally uses to achieve success in all areas of her life.
